    Peter Charrington - Non-executive Chairman

Think this is a fair point. Levy is gone but unless ENIC are changing their model, we've just lost the best man available to operate that model IMO. 25 years and the leopard changing its spots seems unusual to say the least.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Harry has always been very positive and balanced about the club especially given how he departed. Always spoke well of Levy as he did there. Jamie seems to have a real problem with the club and Levy. Always assumed it went back to his playing days because he was sort of bundled out the door mid...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

A lot of feelings about this. Some excitement that we might be a bit more fiscally adventurous. Trepidation that such a path could be ruinous for us if not managed properly. Eternally grateful to Daniel Levy for all he’s done for the club. For me, he was a brilliant chairman who turned this...

Rough highlights of Prem teams' transfer windows

It may not work. It can be difficult to bed in lots of players and some lads may be overawed by the stature of the club. So it's not a guarantee. But, if they fail, that won't be on the owners. They've well and truly invested to dominate. If you're a fan, you've got to love that.

Rough highlights of Prem teams' transfer windows

That's absolutely true but even if we could, I'd be shocked if Levy pushed the boat out like that if we'd won the league the year before. He's very cautious fiscally...which is not a criticism (or at least not an absolute criticism).

Rough highlights of Prem teams' transfer windows

I said last week that we had the best owners out there aside from some mythical benevolent billionaire. I take it back. Liverpool have and it hurts me to say that. To do what they’ve done this summer, from a position of strength already, is fantastic if you’re Arne Slot or a Liverpool fan...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

He should be backed a million per cent. Today was beyond disappointing but he got dingdonged by Iraola. It happens. No manager has the answers to such a degree that they’ll always make the right selections at the start of games and changes during games. Frank is no different. There’s been enough...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

Got what we deserved. In fact, we were flattered by 1-0. Really insipid given we were a goal down so early and created nowt. Very disappointing but, to quote Van Morrison, there’ll be days like this. Thought the team tried to be fair. The effort was there, we just weren’t good enough. And...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

Quite literally one of the worst home performances I’ve ever seen so far. Been destroyed. It’s at the point that whatever happens from here won’t paper over the cracks of how bad we’ve been today. But somehow, we’re still in it.

If Frank pulls off that substitution, he deserves every penny of his salary.

Very lucky to be one down. They’re dingdonging us. Frank was gonna get things wrong on occasions. Today has been it so far but still time to rescue it. We can’t be that bad again…surely.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I really don't get it with the protestors either. I mean, what the f**k are they expecting? In our entire almost 150 year history, have we ever been the biggest club in England or challenging for major trophies aside from a brief period in the 60s (and maybe you could argue the early 80s). Other...

Not even September and Man Utd only have one trophy left to play for. fudging wonderful.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

I know I’m a million steps ahead of myself and it’s very unlikely but wouldn’t it be hilarious if Levy had his Ange moment this season and we won the league. Think some of our fans’ heads might explode with a mixture of joy and frustration.

***Spurs vs Emirates Marketing Project***, PL, 23rd Aug 2025 at Etihad

For some reason, our fans thought chanting “we want Levy out” when we were on the brink of the win was a good idea. I’ve huge respect for the away fans but thought that was petty.

    Eberechi Eze

I think most of that is fair Steff. There is a pattern there. But we’ve made some bloody good signings this window. One or two more quality additions and we are in a very good place. I’m optimistic that Levy has some ambition here to push on and hoping that it might make the difference when it...

fudge me. fudge me pink. Only saw second half. We were so so good. Really controlled with an edge. The shape was good, the press was top class and coordinated. Palhinha was immense but I could say that about anyone. I’ve seen us twice, PSG and here and I’m very impressed. Especially as we...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Think it was even more extreme than that. He said that Levy saw nothing except Tottenham and Ferguson gave him credit for taking that approach IIRC.

    Eberechi Eze

Aguero left that summer. Jesus scored 8 goals in 28 league games that year, Sterling scored 13 in 30. Neither got anywhere near the numbers Kane or Ronaldo would have gotten. They did have good options at CB in fairness but Mangala and Otamendi weren’t great. And VVD would have been a massive...

    Eberechi Eze

Levy knocked City back for Kane in 2021. City didn't sign a striker in that window and signed Alvarez in January 2022, an unproven player from River Plate who they immediately loaned back, for ~20m. The Ronaldo interest was in the same window. In 17/18, they expressed interest in VVD but he...
