What I meant is that he's unlikely to play this out in public before it's more settled. He's imo very unlikely to get into a back and forth in public when it's still up to the PL/legal stuff/whatever to decide.

There's probably a lot the club COULD say. But Levy isn't going to play something like this out in public. Hope it gets done, really like him. I'm guessing it's mostly grandstanding from them, but that's very much just a guess. But if they manage to drag it out enough it causes issues for us...

Welcome. Please be excellent. Looking forward to seeing him play for us and to see what Frank can help him become.

    Transfer thread

A Maddison alternative has been a priority, but not the biggest priority. Assuming we complete Kudus and MGW I'm guessing that means either we have quite a lot of money left to spend or Frank thinks Gray and Bergvall are very much ready for a quick and solid impact this season. Could be that...

Like most of you really excited about this (still potential) signing, been impressed every time I've seen him (admittedly not that many times) going back to at Wolves. The Maddison alternative we so missed last season. With the work rate to play different roles. Real technical wonderful player.

    Transfer thread

Yeah, really struggling to see us paying that much for a player that's soon 29. Also not seeing how Brentford would expect to get that for a 29 year old with a year left on his contract and one standout season.

    Mohammed Kudus

Agreed. Said this in the transfer thread too, but it's about identifying those players capable of stepping up in a better team and who fit what the manager needs. Good profile fit for what we're short on in our squad. Good age, PL experience and we need a bit of that. If he's also one to step...

Welcome. Seems like a real talent. Will be interesting to see what Frank makes of our young talents at CB and if any of them are included in the first team squad this season.

Sounds like some terrible experiences. Trying to think what that must have been like as a child and though both my imagination and empathy fail to fully understand it what I do understand creates both pain, sadness and anger on your behalf. Hope you're doing well now, a massive congratulations...

Sorry to hear that about your experience (assuming I read your post correctly). Anger from parents towards sons as a good way toughen them up is for me another one of those issues I wish more people would speak up about loudly and clearly and without deflections.

Did anyone say he shouldn't be our CEO or that we should sack him? If the same happened at Spurs I'd want it handled very differently. To what extent he sas responsible for how it was handled there is impossible to know.

To me us men who aren't violent to women have a responsibility beyond refraining from hitting or raping women. We've come some way towards progress, some signs of things getting worse again. See the popularity of Andre Tate, signs of misogyny rising amongst young men etc. I say let's together...

Essentially no one in the world are saying that all men are violent to women. Unless someone specifically says they think all men are violent to women it's safe to assume people don't think that. The "not all men" types I'm guessing would be people who in a discussion about violence towards...

Just to be clear my question was not in any way meant as a criticism of Vinai. As you say we don't know. There were several posts that seemed to indicate that people thought Arsenal dealt with the situation the way they should have. What his role was in that we don't know.

To those of you critical of wanting to see a football club act through a suspension or otherwise before someone is found guilty: Would you say the same about murder or attempted murder accusations? Would you say the same about match fixing accusations?
