Mykhailo Mudryk

Saw a quote from RDZ from the Everton preview saying that Mudryk's injury was 'stupid'...anyone know what he meant by that?

"Playing without tackle, without different movement and he felt pain in the ankle and then after two days, he made the medical check and we knew the problem, but after a long time, we knew eh. A stupid injury but we are not stupid. When we signed Mudryk, we already knew it could be difficult to come back [straight away] as a normal player."

None of our players have been out injured 2.5 years. Kulu, Odobert and Simons come from higher starting points too (ability, hardened to the league)

And neither has Mudryk been out injured for 2.5 years. In fact he hasn't been injured at all so has continued to train and use all of his muscles and will therefore have no wastage like all of our players will after injury

Let’s not forget this man. He is due back in a few weeks so he’ll have little time to make any impact before the window opens - which i hope means he bangs a few in for us around Christmas.

Is that doable? Looks like a plan to me, I really don’t see the point of this loan given Tel’s form and LWB’s potential.

Yeah, it happens all the time. We just tell Chelsea he won't be registered in our squad and they probably want to find somewhere else for him to recuperate.

We're still on 18 oversees players (limit is 17), so need to lose two (presumably Richy and Mudryk) to be able to bring one in. Simons will definitely be using his after Christmas. And like you say - Savio, Tel and now LWB give us plenty of options at LW (Odobert is due back this month too), its CFs we're short of.
