Not sure what happened, meant to say a total gimmick. Fuel prices are already available online, if they really want to help they could cut fuel duty, reduce energy prices and boost uptake of EVs alongside it.
Could Burnham be anymore subtle about trying to rejoin the EU, wouldn't be surprised if he calls an election next year with that as his main policy.
Feels like he has no ideas at all, monster majority and almost 3 years to go. There's plenty they could be getting on with now but they don't seem to be doing anything.

I mean, aside from presenting initial ideas for a National Care Service, a programme aimed at delivering much more affordable social housing, bringing water services back into public ownership, reducing VAT on electricity bills, capping bus fares at £2, reducing council tax with a land value tax, adjusting the pension triple lock, reindustrialising Britain, devolving power to the regions, bringing parity with vocational routes in the education system and seeking to bring an end to homelessness, he’s been completely silent.
Personally, I think he just sits in the No 10 flat playing Smiths and New Order records.

Parliament only restarted after their summer holidays at 2.30pm yesterday, bless them, but they had been doing stuff before the recess.
Summer is always quiet and then silly season with the conferences, but agree they could at least be floating more meaningful ideas than rerunning Brexit at the moment
