It’s a brickhole and they are clams.A lot of talk in the build up of how intimidating it would be to go to Anfield. If you can make it past the 15th minute the ‘you know what you are’ song stopped and it’s been plain sailing really. Seems everyone outside the payroll of sky sports knows that the myth of the atmosphere at Anfield is exactly that, a myth.
Probably in the minority but all the charges talk has teetered into boring territory for me now

When they start on Chelsea AND city I'll listen.
Until then it's no better than an half arsed job.
It's all becoming pathetic.
I find little residual admiration in their football - as you watch, yes, superb, but why is that? Because they can afford to stack their squad with dirty money.
FWIW I thought Ndiaye looked brick.
It's a good point. They are now saying well it was always obvious with City. Well it's always been fudging obvious with Chelsea, Leicester, PSG, Madrid...When they start on Chelsea AND city I'll listen.

Yeah, honestly thought the coverage was just bizarre and turned off before the end of the game. I get why the broadcasters are doing it, because if you were to state it plainly that one side is made up of cheats who are likely to be punished with at least one relegation, you might lose viewers. But at the same time, having to hear ‘controversy aside, that was a great goal’ or whatever, does my fudging head in. The controversy is the entire point that they can afford those players! You cannot separate them! It is inherently less impressive because they acquired those players by cheating.
The punishment can’t come soon enough.

That one gets forgotten. They would never have been in a place for everyone to bend over and let them win the league without cheating their way up in the first place.
And also clearly using PED’s.
Maybe, but the free ride they got from officials was exactly the same as the goons got last year. Someone is paying someone. And also clearly using PED’s.
3 games in a row he's done the square root of feck all..

It is weird and it's a really bad look for the league. Every conversation about them will be prefaced with talk about the charges. Everything they do is under a massive cloud. Don't know how long that can credibly go on.Have to say yesterdays game felt odd, almost like Emirates Marketing Project took great joy in flaunting their cheating and attitude to all that would watch. Makes a mockery of them still being able to compete at this level, surely this all could have been planned so that anything happened in the summer and this level of embarrassment for the PL never happened

I don't blame the players or fans though. In that situation, you create a siege mentality especially because the fans and players aren't at fault here. They've done little or nothing wrong.
