Isn't the average currently something like 7 years? So 2 isn't actually a ridiculous target in that context

I specifically said buskers with amplification. So girl or guy with an acoustic or a harmonic or whatever - fantastic. However someone with a full backing track, coming through an enormous PA, murdering some dreadful karaoke, is seriously unpleasant for people with heightened sensory issues.

Cocaine is an awful thing. I have never seen good things come from it. Of course I've been there! The good stuff too, back in the way way day in South America. Except there is no 'good' coke, it's all bollox...When I saw the absolutely SH-IT poetry I had written after an all-nighter of empty shagging with someone who certainly felt they'd punched under their weight when the 'bus-lbrickers allure' wore off around 9am, I realized that I would never chase THAT again! I have sadly been in too many spaces where the sheer amount of bolix regurgitated is enough to drown a 1000 people!

Doesn't go far enough with buskers imho.
Just back from a long weekend in Amsterdam, not a busker to be heard, absolutely bliss.
10 mins in Glasgow City centre today and a busker with an amp every 100 yards, none of them can sing or play and all competing to be heard, hell on earth.

Another big problem is that it's forcing people to go and get tests done privately but then the local authorities don't accept the results and won't provide any funding unless they get diagnosed via the NHS route.

The private sector shouldn't be involved in healthcare, so I kind of agree with the principle. But the NHS should be expanding their provision.

Although much of the current swell is dealing with the parents who were undiagnosed a generation ago, in combination with the usual flow of kids. So it won't necessarily be a permanent expansion.

I guess they were armed with banners not bombs. Or sheep rustlers doing some good old-fashion rural crime.

Twitterati take on it all is that the “terrorists” were actually nicking fuel.
