Don't think selling up will make any diffence as all the charges relate to a period under the current ownership at City. It's very different to the Chelsea case , the PL and UEFA should have investigated Abramovitch when he was the owner there were enough rumours flying around and not have to rely on the new owners discovering the irregularities.
If this is all true there won't be any titles stripped but Everton were deducted 6 points for I think it was just the one breach , Forest 2 points so on that basis for 115 charges the sky's the limit.

Who is going to buy in this situation. The drop in revenue could be huge from loss of Champions League and even a relegation. Add in the reputatipnal damage will hurt commercial revenues. Plus this whole issue is about them arrtiricially inflating those revenues via companies associated to the ownership.

Their revenue could drop by £250M before a relegation is even taken in to account.

So a minimum of a 600pt deduction and multiple offences should get more. Of course, 60pts, 600pts or 6000pts makes no difference. The question is will they try and find a way to avoid a relegation sentence.

Even if they did get relegated, they should be straight back. Fans might accept one season in the Championship in exchange for seven titles. Stripping the titles would open a can of worms about awarding them to someone else, although vacating them like the Tour de France did with Lance Arnstrong is another option. Could City drop the appeal if the sentence was one relegation and keeping the titles?

A beard. Commercial revenue is driven by success being relegated and winning every game will put them in the limelight companies want.

You're even more stuck in the past than me. "Medals won by cheating shouldnt count" there is no morality in sport just lots of jealousy, winning is all that matters.
It will be interesting to see how the media handle this, will they condemn the way City have broken the rules to buy their success and call for punitive sanctions or just trot out some platitudes and quickly move on?

Did I? Success brings in revenue. City have a team that would walk away with any division you put them in. They would quickly be back in PL and winning, we are a long way off that position. Many of our fans have an over inflated view of our strength, think back to a few weeks ago when the general opinion was we were capable of top 6 finish.

What you are arguing here makes absolute no sense and has been proven.

Burnley just successfully sued Everton for £40M based on loss of revenue from being relegated in 2022 when Everton had breached FFP.

The total loss of revenue for Burnley was £58.5M. So they won approx 68% of lost revenue.

Spurs finished 1 place out of the Champions League spots and behind Emirates Marketing Project in 4 of the season for which the 115 charges are covered.

2010/11
2011/12
2012/13
2014/15

Based on participating in the Champions League in those seasons with a group stage exit vs Europa League, the estimated drop in revenue is £80M.

So based on the legal precident set by Burnley v Everton, Spurs can expect legal damages of over £50M.

I don't believe I'm arguing, I'm putting my opinion. Shall be looking with great interest to see if the scenario you have displayed actually happens but think I'll be meeting the grim reaper before it does.
