Tottenham Hotspur Women

It is real, but they pack all the home fans in the West Lower, which is out of shot. That pocket of fans you can see will be the away fans. I have taken my daughter to a couple of the games and that is the set up.

Official attendance today listed as 7,310.
 
For todays game they used the east stand camera positions for TV meaning that you could see the home fans in west lower so that the stadium didn't look empty but the women have a long way to go before they start getting decent crowds .
Actually played well today with I think it was 20 or so goal attempts but lack killer instinct in front of goal.

Its gonna take some real investment to bridge the gap to those above them... but they seem to be moving in the right direction
 
I wonder why they don't allow people to get better seating for the same price. If you're not going to fill half the stadium, why don't you allow the few who are actually going to the games to be treated to a great experience with halfway line seats?
 
Seeing quite a few of the women’s team leaving this summer, Beth England just announced as well. Anyone know what’s occurring?
 
Tightening of the belt could be true but I also think it's just the evolution of this team. Come a long, long way in the 3 years since Beth joined. Feels like they're starting to take it seriously and make a push for the Champions League places.

Crystal Palace did have a player sent off after about 10 minutes. After that they just sat it a 'low block' and tried to hold on. Once it got to about 4-0 they pretty much lost all shape and defensive discipline.

Well you've had the usual suspects dominating the women's game and just like the men's all the new fans flock to the successful teams.
If our women's team start picking up a trophy or 2 then crowds will increase over the next decade or so.

I find the grounds too isolated to schlep up too often, they likely suffer from that.
