***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa***, PL, Sat 19th Sept 2026

And fools will always find people to blame excessively and unnecessarily because of their tunnel vision.
Both can be true
Maybe, but if you think every player is playing fabulously and therefore no critique is called for then cool for you.

If however you can see some players under forming than your view is no different to everybody else. You just have a lower standard of acceptable.

Front three just hasn’t really clicked again, Marmoush has been over running things and his touch has let him down a few times, Solanke has been fairly anonymous and unaware, Savio started well but because he’s on the right, he spends a lot of time facing his own goal and laying it off backwards.

I’d be tempted to look to get Maddison on to improve the options available for getting people in on goal. Again, we haven’t played badly as such, we just haven’t taken the chances we have had and we aren’t creating enough real clear cut opportunities to get decent shots off.

Savio, bright spark but stone me he is a frustrating watch. Its telling that when he gets the ball fans have stopped standing up like they were first 10 mins
Hes not a RW, he's incredibly limited and one dimesional on that side. I get that RDZ wants his wingers to cut in and shoot, but if that was the case we should have never bought Savio because that is specifically a play style he is proven to be poor at.

He’s been appalling. Honestly like playing with 10 men. More of a hindrance than a help so far.
For me his role in this team is the physicality first, goal scoring second. No one else in the squad can play with their back to goal, maybe Kudus but he’s had no experience as CF in the prem to my knowledge.

When we signed Solanke I accepted his limitations

A great highlights reel player but can see why Guardiola used to get exasperated with Savio and ultimately decided that Kudus’ Ghanaian teammate would prove to be a more effective attacker.

It’s so bad watching him be quite headless because every time he just opens up his left side
He is so much better than that
