***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa***, PL, Sat 19th Sept 2026

Let's be positive and create a winning atmosphere.
Dear GHod, let us win.

Two questions come to mind:

Why didn't we enter into a multi-year stadium naming rights partnership?

And why don't we use the name "White Hart Lane" for the stadium?

Feel like I’ve seen this one before. An Emery team sitting back and soaking up our horseshoe pressure in the hopes of hitting us on the break.

Flipside is that we owe someone a hiding. Long overdue

We are a really good side. We just need Maddison to feed one of the forwards, and for them to actually kick the ball thing in the net thing.
It really isn't as difficult as they pretend, just one pass through and blat it into the net, piece of tinkle.
They do it with ease all week in training, then clam up during the game, bunch of bottlers.

The answers to your questions (at least the club positive version)

- We didn't find a deal that had more value the actually carry the Tottenham Hotspur brand on stadium (remember we are not a football only stadium), there is some inherent value in Rugby/Beyonce/Boxing at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium for the brand
- See point above, WHL is a fan association, Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a brand alignment.

The second point is why I actually tend to believe the club was ok with not having a sponsor (and yes, if someone had come in with stupid money, we would take it). If we planned to sponsor name the club from early, keeping WHL as a fan favourite would have made more sense.

Kinsky, Dubravka, Porro, Gray, JPVH, Tosin, VDV, Senesi, Davies, Udogie, Robertson, Tonali, Bentancur, Ferndanes, Bergvall, Gallager, Maddison, Savio, Kudus, Solanke, Marmoush, Tel

2 of these will need to be left out. Davies fairly certain will be one but the 2nd will be interesting.

I would like to see

----------------------------Kinsky

Porro-----------JPVH---------VDV----------Udogie

---------------Fernandes-------Bentancur

----------------------------Maddison

Kudus-----------------------------------------------Savio

--------------------------Marmoush

But I think we might see either Bergvall instead of Fernandes or Bentancur and maybe Solanke up top, Savio on the left and Marmoush on the right. 😒

That’s the team want to see
Don’t see a team where he doesn’t pick his boy tonali though

I thought Tonali was unavailable due to injury? Tbh i think Bentancur/Tonali are interchangeable for that role. Whereas I see Fernandes as being someone we are less able to replicate.

Btw I don't think Tonali has been bad, but I do think the midfield selections so far have been poor imo.

Tonali is back fit.
I agree Bentancur and Tonali are both VERY safe. So we can sub the tiring one that started, on the hour, with the other.
Alongside that safe guy, we can have the more expressive e.g. Fernandes, who can be subbed when he tires with Bergvall, or vice versa.
And in the 10 we can have Maddison, who is subbed by Kudus when he tires. Simple pimple.

He hasn’t been bad
But Bentacur has been better
And unless we sacrifice of the 3 CMs we can’t get a better attacking balance
So someone has to drop
