Don't blame Danso for wanting to leave. He was our best defender despite being 3rd choice behind the calamity that was Romero and VDV. I really hope the first three choices can actually start defending the box properly otherwise without Danso we have no good box defenders!

i don't see any real deficits, nothing wrong with headers and he is an aggressive tackler, unlike vdv.
will take some time to build an understanding i guess.

It's incredible how quickly the narratives are written. JPVH has played 2 games for us and is just an awful defender apparently. Kevin Danso (who I do like by the way) has played 52 times for us (38 starts -- 1 season!) and he's somehow just a step or two below Ledley King.
