Except, thousands have been at it for years. Half of social media is just pure grift, just pyramid schemes. A good friend was telling me about her new 'job' in marketing. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what exactly was being marketed. 'Training' kept coming up... So, I think the ruse was that they trained people to be trainers, who trained people to be trainers, who trained people to be trainers, who trained people to be trainers... When I asked "isn't that just some vile pyramid scheme", she looked a bit confused, laughed and then looked confused again. Week 1 was finding some 'mates' to pretend they were being trained by the trained trainers, to make it look some training was taking place for the 'gram, for the 'tube.
