American politics

You have to wonder about the mentality of people who rather back someone who produced baby onesies with "unvaxxed unafraid" slogans.

Interestingly in 2014/15 he claimed all his kids were vaxxed and they saved lives, only to say now the MMR is unsafe..........very "Fauci" of him given his role in public health.

Claiming a kid with Vaccines have brighter engagement than someone without and you can tell straight away from looking in their eyes?

Yeh but go after the man who has done more for things like Aids treatment globally

Err, the one which was in a previous post that you didn't answer? This one!

"Why aren't you asking about people who lied and stole billions thanks to their 'friends' in power? There are a LOT of people to be angry at."

As a rule of thumb I don’t engage in whataboutism. I suspect my views on fraud relating to Covid along with general crony capitalism, corporate welfare and government waste are at the very least as strong as yours.

It’s not really part of the active news cycle and I imagine it would get little interaction if either of us made a thread or posted about it in here.

Because the studies are from 2023 and 2024. In 2021 they didn’t know the answer and there were concerns which they discussed privately. But the message to the public was different. No red flags.

So why would anyone outright lie in that instance? What would be their motivation?

(For the record I do not agree whatsoever that Fauci 'lied' on this count, it was a discussed potential hypothesis still being explored and analysed which proved to have little credence)

I wonder why it isn't...

The bulk of our media that is avalible to consume is controlled by corporate interests whether they realise it or not.

I think the US government got every single Covid related economic policy wrong outside of the initial round of stimulus checks.

The motivation was to prevent any discussion of potential side effects of the vaccines as it would result in a decrease in vaccination rates. Same reason why they said it would prevent infection and transmission when they knew that was inaccuarte.

Didn't RFK and his contrary views on vac, the measles vax drop off and his subsequent scurry to gain public faith back into vaccines maybe prove their actions were actually in the publics best interest.

I don’t think RFK gained that level of prominence until after vaccine skeptacism had become more mainstream.

Yet was held up as a hero by some for that skepticism. Came in after a wave of Covid under the banner of "ripping it all up" or whatever Trump said and promoted a bunch of anti vaxxers into prominent advisory roles. Im pretty sure he played some part

Even if that was the case, what are you implying? That the vaccine was simply a corporate ruse?
That covid was simply an opportunity exploited by the entire scope of the medical field?
I remain unclear on the root point you're trying to make here.

Yes but thats not happening at any mainstream level until 2023.
