I just cant see how in his current form he steps up, I really would love to be wrong there 100%

It's clear he's got potential, but also has the ability to make fairly simple things look difficult. The tenacity is there but not the finesse, reading of the game or passing range / ability to get by players.

As you say, it's whether he steps up, because there's a case of the Lewis Holtby's for me. Obviously a hard worker, but sort of just charging around off the ball, and lacking quality on it...

Well I'd feel a lot sadder if he was to leave in comparison to Vuskovic. Think he's got a really bright future, would hate to seen him flourish at another Premier League club so would rather someone abroad comes in for him

Who himself couldn't get a game under De Zerbi - everyone assumed was because he wanted experience for the relegation battle, but we are going big apparently for more than one CM. Hopefully he doesn't want out aswell...,

I think if he's not prepared to fight for a spot we should question his mentality.

One of the clubs he's been linked to is Chelsea, that would be an awful move
