Ahahahahahaha. She is the biggest rage baiter going. In her most recent article before the game this weekend she still managed to throw in a ‘if only the fans would have let Thomas Frank build the defensive solidity they so sorely needed, then he would have opened up the attack by now.’

Utter wind up merchant. If she’s getting press credentials it’s a travesty.

He did more than a 'really good' job IMO. He had to manage the entire club including those macaronic nepo-babies and their charges. After two games he lost two key players. He then lost Solanke. I am comfortable welcoming him as a Spurs legend because faced with the darkest of days he triumphed. And let's be honest - this was all his work. IMO calling this a 'legendary' feat does not set up ridiculous expectations whatsoever, indeed, when he came in, the trajectory + injuries meant that the most ridiculous expectations were that he could keep us up because we were going down, no two ways about it.

He did very well. Confidence was shot and he was dealt the same injury card as the previous two managers. I was always pretty confident we would stay up, it just needed the right personality. That’s where he delivered imo

So nice to have a manager with elite aura at the helm again, first we call out the gutter press then we need to get the PGMOL in check like Legohead did so that VAR ain’t screwing us over as badly as the incessant injuries next season.

On paper, is the record that impressive if you take it at face value? Maybe not.

Throw in the circumstances and it bloody is. No wins in 4 months. No win at home in 5 months. We'd dropped into the relegation zone before we played under him where many commentators said we wouldn't cope or have the bottle to get out. Unprecedented injury crisis. Leaking 2+ goals a game for 10 of 11 games before he came in. Losing his captain, his main striker and his most creative player early on. A nation willing us down...

He's done an absolutely incredible job. We had to win games with as bad an attack as I can remember at Spurs since 1993/94 when Sheringham got injured.

I wasn't sold on him but I am now. As well as putting millions in the bank for staying up, he's put a hell of a lot of credit in there too.

I truly believe there aren't many managers who would have kept us up. In doing so, this fella has written himself into our history in a way that means he'll be forever remembered fondly regardless of what happens from here.
