He's an alrounder who is capable of winning CM for us. Which puts him above most.

Looks like a completely different player to the one we saw at the start of the season. Night and day. Amazing what happens when you are actually giving him passing options and movement.

He had a good game and fair play to him. Just would like the consistency and more influence. Playing with Pauli and Gallagher we looked very strong … but that’s again just us getting one game done. Play like that consistently and I’m all for it.

Think he’s been tremendous since he’s returned especially given the horrendous time he’s had with injuries. He’s not spectacular but he just knows where to be, he knows when to take the sting out of things and he can be a bit of a brickhouse at times when needed. He’s been absolutely integral to this little run over the last few games.

When Robert Downey Zerbi dropped Gray I was really surprised, as he had been the shining light in an otherwise abject run of 15 games - but have to say he has benefited from the return of Bentancur, who to his credit has come back looking like he's not been away - no mean feat after the time he had out.
We may see a bit of madders next, and GHod knows that could be crucial in the next three games.
