Climate Change

Terrifying. The Matthew McConaughey momologue in True Detective season 1 comes to mind. We are doomed and it's probs about time.

No matter how bad you think it will get, it will be far worse and happen far sooner. The Hansen (in contrast to Mann)school of climate thought, that predict a dire outcome much sooner, is proving to be right. We are not on a linear progression of bricktiness; we are accelerating into the abyss.

This year, we are going to see a lot of food shortages for various reasons, including Trumpelthinskin's ill-advised war with Iran. Stock up and learn to grow veg.

I'm sure there's plenty in it, but George Monbiot has been prediciting imminent climate apocalypse for about 35 years now. I find it hard to take him seriously - which is not a good thing, I fear.
