Agreed! I will be gagging for a proper book. And in the meantime I at least hope The Athletic have a long long read ready to drop a couple of days after this season ends. I want anonymous quotes from inside the club explaining how this season ended up going to badly badly wrong. I want all the agendas.

I am increasingly untrusting of The Athletic. Their quality-meter seems to have largely broken. But I certainly share your enthusiasm for further knowledge (I have been hearing things all season and it has NOT been pretty)...

I had always placed huge faith in them but, sadly, the quality has dipped lately and there have been a few things that have leaked out that I'm scratching my head with a bit (like the unnamed player going around saying he didn't give a brick if we went down because he'd be off anyway. That caused VdV a lot of bad press).

I know what you mean. It seems like they’re willing to print anything right now. The ‘some of the players are going around saying they don’t care about relegation because they’ll be gone anyway’ story just seemed way too juvenile to print. Obviously VDV refuted it. And maybe someone did actually say it. But maybe it was also second or third hand. In any case, odd story to print I thought.

However, almost because of their willingness to get these anonymous quotes in their stories…I want all the juice. Has there ever been a sporting failure on this scale before, relative to the size of the club and the quality of the squad? It is utterly fascinating, and I’m dying to hear every little last story around it.

I'd love to really understand how these people got to Tudor. Like you must be able to pay people who know ball to help you decide ball based decisions right? But again we seem to make bizarre decisions again and again.

I was wondering if something like this was going to happen, given the subsequent FAB meeting and notes I imagine there is stuff Levy takes exception too.
 
In a Spurs world you either like levy or you don’t. When evidence or rumours come out the crowd either believe them or they don’t. But the comical thing is both sides use them when it favours their petty arguments and dismiss them when they don’t.

The fact is that he did a good job in delivering the stadium. He got stale as have ENIC. The club needs new owners; new investment and a new direction instead of South.
