Seeing a lot of “well what was the point” and “that’s how they repay us” posts on SM after today.
Thing is, we need to continue to do it. Crowd were excellent today all game IMO. Yeah, it’s an absolute gut punch. But all the people saying “we’re down, it’s done”. We need to be better than that as a fan base. We aren’t even bottom 3 yet. Much worse situations have been turned around with much worse squads. As a fan base, we need to continue to roar these boys on. If we go down, that’s for the board and players to explain and live with.
Everyone needs to show some backbone and resilience right now. Fans included.
Are you in the dug out?I’m now 16 league games without seeing us win. Last win I saw was v Villa in Novermber 24. Since then, 6 draws and 9 defeats.
If my wife or kids did this to me, they’d be out the door. And I love the three of them dearly. fudging Tottenham.
With all due respect there was the biggest call to arms today ive ever seen, everyone showed up and the fans went above and beyondMassively agreed. The fans need to keep it up in defiance. Because if they don’t do it, the players certainly aren’t going to hit a good performance level. But even if they do and still get nothing from the players, as fans we need to be defiant because we and this club will be here after these owners and these players are gone.
Put way more succinctly than I did. Exactly thisMassively agreed. The fans need to keep it up in defiance. Because if they don’t do it, the players certainly aren’t going to hit a good performance level. But even if they do and still get nothing from the players, as fans we need to be defiant because we and this club will be here after these owners and these players are gone.
I’m numb. I’m stunned. That’s a shocker. Tudor not doing the post match interviews either so I’m expecting a change.
Thought first half we were decent but didn’t create much. Hindsight allows huge criticism of the subs but he rolled the dice and went to a back 4. How many managers have been criticised for not changing things when we needed it? VdV also didn’t look right. He had the balls to make a decision but got it wrong.
The players tried as far as I could see today. I don’t think it was lack of effort. Ultimately, we had no creativity and never looked like troubling them really. Whether that’s tactical or personnel related I don’t know.
Whatever Tudor didn’t do will be the right decision in hindsight. Fact is, we just weren’t good enough today as we haven’t been for almost 18 months now. The brick just got deeper.
He’s Arne/Allan.Are you in the dug out?

We lost 3 nil
We should have done it way earlier than this
For all my shade the fans have shown up, the players havent
Yeah I thought we played a good first half and got sucker punched. And whether the subs just confused the players I don’t know. VDV didn’t look fit to me, felt he was beaten for pace a couple of times when we never usually would be and so I get why it was changed.
There was a moment just before their second where we had the ball, looked like we were shaping up in a back three system, but we just had nothing. There was no outball, no movement, no attempt to make something happen. It was that moment where I thought we were done. And the two mins later MGW has the space in the box to tap home despite us having about 6 players around him.
And from then on it wasn’t a game anymore. We had nothing. You could see the confidence was shot. It wasn’t a lack of effort, but we were just no longer a team. And that’s what’s so sad about it. I genuinely don’t know how you change this. We’ve had the fans creating a great atmosphere. We have a manager getting them fitter. We have the players seemingly realising that situation cannot go on. And yet we lose 3-0. What can we do in that situation? Is anger going to make them work harder?
If we go down its not because of me or you on hereAgreed, but that’s exactly my point. I don’t know how, with the support the players got today, how we lost 3-0 in a game that important. I think it shows that the situation with this squad is incredibly serious and beyond being solved with one solution or another.
So I think as fans we have only one choice. To keep this level up because it’s the only way the players will react well - negativity and anxiousness will achieve nothing. But even if we dont get that reaction, to show that we are massive, to show that we will be back, and to show that we will be here long after the people responsible for this situation are gone. Almost as therapy for ourselves. We need to be defiant.
I think the best thing any Spurs fan can do over the next 3 weeks is.... anything else.At least we have nearly 3 weeks to get back up again
So we will be improved? We're always terrible after a layoff. They will come back looking like a bunch of complete strangers to one another again.
If we go down its not because of me or you on here
Im at peace with that
I think the best thing any Spurs fan can do over the next 3 weeks is.... anything else.
Switching your phone off (from Spurs) would be a good idea.....as there's 3 weeks to fill.
You’re right but there will be rounds of podcasts. The media will be on it non-stop. There’ll be Cundy and O’Hara being strangely entertaining. It’s like being on a night out and after 6 pints, someone says “tequila?”I think the best thing any Spurs fan can do over the next 3 weeks is.... anything else.

I think there was more than a moment...large periods where what you observed, appliedThere was a moment just before their second where we had the ball, looked like we were shaping up in a back three system, but we just had nothing. There was no outball, no movement, no attempt to make something happen. It was that moment where I thought we were done
It's not just you.Is it me or do we always concede goals on Porro's side? if its not someone beating him and getting the assist its the cross from the other wing into his area?
