***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Football Club v Nottingham Forest***

Wish that our transfer committee would’ve signed a dominant midfielder like Anderson to play alongside Gray

Be interesting to see what Sarr's stats are against that.
Doesn't offer much for 90mins imo

Think Tudor panicked at HT, we were marginally the better side to that point, give it 10 and then make the changes.

Didn’t get the Udogie sub at all, not just because he ended up playing brick, but it just didn’t really change anything. Both Spence and VDV could have offered what he does.

Udogie was terrible, but Bergvall removing the width we had was more detrimental.

Who’d have thought that a squad full of 2nd / 3rd choice journeymen and a team bereft of club trained players would put up so little fight against our biggest humiliation in a generation.

And yet, I keep hearing that they do care, they they’re professionals in a tough, pressurised line of ‘work’ and that it’s almost insulting to think they don’t care. Yet week after week… apparently it’s just confidence, sorry, a large number of them do not care.

We’ll get an absolute deluge of brick on social media in the next three weeks, all the usual “we go again”, “in it together” “working hard” gonads. Where the club try and convince the fans to do lots to create a good atmosphere. The fans will, because that’s what they are, fans. The club means the world to all of them.

But I’m sorry, bar maybe three players, they do not give a brick and are hoping to hear from their agents with good news soon. Sick of the lot of them.
Ultimately it means brick. we were behind them for nearly the whole game, the support wasn’t reciprocated and shows no signs of it happening any time soon

The problem is the ones that care aren’t really good enough. And the ones who are actually good enough don’t seem to care.

There are 2 that fit both I think.

Gray and Danso.

can you name a team we can currently beat in the league?
At the moment it’s blind hope, desperate and hope. We have players coming back and I think that quality will come through. Need a common sense manager to come in and turn it around. We have a better team than at the very least 6 teams

People tossing off a win in a dead rubber of a game in a cup even Frank had us looking OK in.
Our fans are deluded and desperate not to accept the truth about our mediocrity.

Beating Athletico didn't mean brick as they knew they just had to not lose by 3. The confidence emanating after that result was ridiculous. It's like we aren't actually watching ourselves play over the last 2 years. 🤣

Igor wants us to play on the front foot I understand that. But my big criticism of him is that we have conceded I think 16 in 5 games? That has to stop first.
We have a brick defense. We've conceded 660+ goals for the last 3 years, at this point we have to accept we just don't have good defenders and truly, we don't. Just look at what we put out on the pitch. Take the Spurs glasses off, would you want any of them if you saw them playing for someone else?

Do we? Because over the course of two seasons we’ve been about fourth worst, and that’s including last season where the bottom three were dire.

Biggest tactical blunder today was going 2 up top - effectively going toe to toe with 2 strong CBs. Would have been better with one up top and Xavi in the hole.
