The "If we go down" thread

Well, the long-term benefit is the investment tanks and the owners probably have to sell.

On my end, I suppose it will be harder to catch the games in Canada, but there's always a way in the modern world - will still be sat there on the weekend, laughing, yelling with joy, or shaking my head, as it always has been. Life's too short to change how I love this club, just because of the division we're in. :)

Yup, much needed reset, which starts with getting them out. Doing just enough to tread water for years but being the literal reason the club would never push further forward, which players and managers are now comfortable calling out.

Going down will be embarrassing, but I think there’s a silver lining for our long term prospects.

Even if we don’t go down, which seems unlikely right now. We will lose a number of key players who won’t want to be here. We have a board that doesn’t want to invest in transfers in January when it was seriously needed. I don’t see how we won’t be here again this time next season. What will significantly change?

A change in the ownership/Board hopefully.

I'd genuinely enjoy watching us tear up the Championship with a core of Donley, Devine, Moore and Lankshear, with Mason as coach.

If ENIC fudge off and someone competent can buy us on the cheap, even better.

None of those players have excelled on loan at that level though?

Attacking wise:

Solanke
Lankshear
Tel
Maddison
Kulu
Odobert
Moore
One more striker
One more right sided

Probably be enough to come up although you look at someone like Summerville who smashed the championship which helped get Leeds up vs Odobert who has 4 goals in 3 seasons. They might not be good enough.

To be honest those who don't want to be here can fudge right off anyway. Their constant poor displays are one of the main reasons we are in this mess.

There are a few younger players I'd like to keep and Maddison, beyond that I'm struggling to think of anyone I'm bothered about....
