Interim Manager Discussion

Would you have these as interim manager to finish the season?

  • John Heitinga

  • Current Coach (Lewis, Cochrane, Burnett, Carr)

  • Ryan Mason

  • Jurgen Klinsmann

  • Chris Hughton

  • Brendan Rodgers

  • Edin Trzic

  • Gareth Southgate

  • Former Manager Hoddle/Jol/Redknapp/Sherwood

  • Stick with Frank no matter what

Can't really see De Zerbi taking it unless it's a long term contract?

Doens't really seem the type you would want to parachute in for a situation like ours to me.
We’re not in a position to think long term. 13 games to stay up and that’s it. De Zerbi doesn’t appear to stay anywhere long term anyway.

I agree. Redknapp is risky and been out of management too long. Tactics/structure aren't the be all and end all, but i don't think his 'run around a bit' and pass to the skillfull players mantra would work
Im not sure he even has the health to do the commute now. My dad is a similar age and no way he'd be able to manage that

I’d be alright with de Zerbi till the summer and then regroup and see where we are. Not sure De Zerbi would agree to that though?
Maybe just a 2 year contract so less expensive to get rid in the summer if we wanted

I'd be happy with that. The risk I suppose is that the two don't know each other, so they might compliment, might clash.

I'd prefer Mason with some of Poch's vanguard (Jesus, D'agostino etc.)
Yeah but I guess Poch needs them with him. He always said Mason 'got' his tactics from day one so I guess he would have the power to start putting Pochs tactics in place already.

....if it was true anyway

Why does Poch need them? There's only 1 international break between now and the summer (22–30 March).
