I mean on a serious note, who is actually available? There must surely be a half decent manager out there who’s currently out of work who fancies a tidy sum to just keep us up?

Not interim but I like Iraola, if we were sacking Ange he was the only realistic manager I wanted or would have considered as a potential improvement. He’d be a monumental step up from Frank and think he’d be doable now.

I don't think De Zerbi is a good fit long term for us, but could be a good interim option. He might be interested if he's offered a big bonus to keep us up... I really hope Poch come back in the summer

Doens't really seem the type you would want to parachute in for a situation like ours to me.

I think RDZ is the best available at the mo as he at least has prem experience and should keep us up. Whether he would want an interim/caretaker gig however is another thing.

As someone said in another thread, maybe we should go to Poch with it's now or never, but he would probably call our bluff

I think they are bricking themselves.....the enormity of choosing the correct contingency plan has escalated rapidly.

I found his appointment very odd. Come in at a time where the coach is all but finished. Surely he was brought in as an interim in mind?

I agree. Redknapp is risky and been out of management too long. Tactics/structure aren't the be all and end all, but i don't think his 'run around a bit' and pass to the skillfull players mantra would work
