*** CL MD4 OMT Tottenham Hotspur v FC Copenhagen ***

What an amazing experience to witness live yesterday!
VDV's run was surreal to see when he started running, we were behind the Vicario's goal so saw it unfold from behind if you know what i mean.

Might be the best match experience myself and my son have had.

Great stuff. Well done Frank, well done Spurs!
That goal is gonna be an all time… I was there moment

Apart from cup finals mine was the Bale hat-trick game in the San Siro. Couldn't get a ticket in the Spurs section which was up in the gods so bought one in one of home stands. I was lower tier around the 18 yard line of the goal we were attacking and the only Spurs fan in the block.

Even though we lost it was one of my all time highlights. The Italian fans thought I was barking 🤣

My mates left at half time in Milan
They also did the same thing vs Ajax away
I tried to get them to leave early in the CL final

Well that was miles better wasn’t it! Albeit not great opposition but a 4-0 win the CL is not to be sniffed at. As for VDV’s goal, just wow! Up there with one of the best goals I’ve ever seen live. Kolo Muani’s touch was Berbatov esque for the second goal as well.

It's strange how your memory plays tricks with you, I've always thought I recalled Cliff Jones scoring with a diving header from about 15 yards against Villa.
Recently I saw an item on OS under Spurs Unseen with a photo of the goal and it appears about 8 yards but it was still a fantastic goal given the conditions and the type of ball in use back then. I love to see a headed goal, it's such a difficult thing to head the ball accurately, Jones & Gilzean are the best I've seen do it for us.

Did you see Dan Burn's header last night, scoring the first goal for Newcash? It was so majestic, just ran and solidly planted his nut on it and it powerfully rocketed with curve in off the back stick.

One thing I know for a fact, you don't have to whip your neck and flail your head at the ball; treat your body/neck/head like a concrete bollard. If you've ever crossed a football at a concrete bollard, it will rebound like a rocket. So 90% of the time you don't need to generate more power, you just need to be concrete and that makes accuracy 100 times easier, no need to flail.

Heading a ball accurately is very difficult, in certain situations it looks easy. Burns scored a good goal but he had no one near him or had to leap to make contact.

Are you talking bollards again?
