Back in olden times they would be described as protests & protesters which is what they are. Just because someone re labels them does not make it so.
 
Apparently the 10-11 people being randomly stabbed on a train yesterday 'wasn't related to terrorism'. I don't know about you but I would have been pretty terrified!

I can see the lie of the land here is the same as other Spurs forums (any criticism of the perpetrators is deemed racist) so I will take my leave.

regardless of the motivation no doubt police stopping and searching the two black men boarding the train with knives woild have been deemed racist

Sorry, I should have made that connection. I only skimmed the thread.

I think it is correct to say that the word woke has been co-opted by the right and used as a pejorative. It has lost it original meaning entirely. What is not correct is that posters call everything they don't like right wing. That bit is made up.

What a ridiculous thing to say. If they were the only two people being searched for no reason other than the colour of their skin then of course it wouldn't just be 'deemed' racist, it would be racist. If there was specific intelligence leading to those two people being searched, or if all passengers were searched, then it wouldn't be an issue.

As you still seem to be logged in : people on a forum don't decide what is defined as a Terrorist attack. It may well be that the view of the police changes as they investigate further.
Why would you want to make it about the race of the attackers before any motivation has been made known?

I personally condem all violent crimes I couldn't care less about there colour or religion . I hope you feel differently in the future & are happy to critize criminals. At the end of the day that's what they are

Exactly this, criminality is criminality, being born into a certain skin or religion is not a crime, how people can't manage to differentiate the two honestly astounds me

If people live their lives looking suspiciously at people of different colour and religion then thats such a sad existence.

We know a few live in fear of those who look differently

It says alot about people on here that the first route they go down is to call out "stop and search" on blacks rather than praying for the victims. Thats telling.

Thoughts to those impacted and that have lost their lives, dreadful act

This is just stupid. If they knew they had knives they would be searched. You could rephrase that to say stopping 2 black men for having knives based on their skin colour would be discriminatory. And yes it would.

These clowns want a race war. It's terrifying. Cancelled plans to go out with my family today as we know people are amped and we don't want the abuse we tend to get on the day after any sort of attack like this.
