If he'd played Johnson as a striker we'd all be giving out now about it. Johnson isn't a striker and isn't good enough either on the wing. All you're doing is switching who we'd be bitching about with those changes. Need to wait until forwards are back.

No Tel is not a senior player. He is an under 21 player not ready for senior football. Would not make the sorting eleven in any other team in the PL, probably not even the squad in most.
Tel was okay today considering how little service he got. Odobert was crap and Kudus invisible a lot of the time. Couldn't understand why we didn't make subs sooner though. Bergvall and Muani was standing on the sidelines for ages.

I cannot understand what people see in Tel, for me it is 40 miljon lost! To weak to hold up the ball, poor passing don't set other players in good position, cannot head the ball... I Would have played ANY of our senior players as striker before Tel! It is like playing with ten men. I really hope Thomas learns from this and doesn't start him again in the PL!
Kudus for me was great in the first half and but tired quickly in the second half.
And agree we should have made subs a lot earlier.

Work in progress. Much, much better defensively than last season. But we’re struggling to click offensively. That's partly due to some players being below par (permanently or temporarily) and partly on Frank's tactics and priorities, IMO.

I get that he’s only been here 5 minutes, but the buildup play is too slow and lacking in intent. Better forwards will help but it needs improving and quickly. Cant rely on set pieces every week.

I think we actually lack personality in our football right now. We are very functional but we don't take those extra risks, whether that be playing with a bit more pace or even just taking a few more shots. Villa were there for the taking in the first 45 mins, that line weas higher than Willie Nelson, yet we were unable to assert ourselves in any extra way despite having the possession to do so. In that sense, Romero was a big loss.

Best away team in the league though.
That's with a huge hole on LW and in all honesty, a lack of a proper week in week out striking option.
We are nowhere near as bad as being made out and it's early in the guys reign.
