ENIC

5th October and the first deadline over , not read any news anywhere of bids coming in so ENIC still running the show. Next deadline 27th October from this DJ geezer but it is the international break and we normally have the usual Saudi/Qatari/American rumour surface so who's next.
With new faces at the helm, Vinae, Viv , Charlie , Charrington and a pragmatic manager who makes tweaks to tactics game to game seems the clamour for change has subsided.
Or to put it in simple terms....we are 3rd in the league, new manager started well, so even the madmen are off the boil. That said, some simmering boos at home games...so the heat is there, takes nothing to turn it up.

Although it's a slight curve ball for the madmen, with the 'hate man' now removed. I'm sure they're capable of refocusing their vitriol.

That's true about clickbait. But there are is no one single way to get clickbait, so the question becomes why go in that very specific direction for clicks?
Just briefly looking at the article...the Brooklyn DJ fella toured the facilities on 6th August....and if let's say it took a couple of weeks to organize, first contact might have been back end of July (if not earlier). We don't know if DL accompanied him on the look around. It is assumed not.

Now given the sudden departure of DL, I'll also take a fair guess that at that time he was operating no different than usual

What I'm saying ....is that line is implying conflict...when DL was just doing what he has always done for 25 years

It was an odd way to report the tour DL had arranged. As you say, i'm sure many, many tours have been arranged by DL over the years and probably many of those were not made known to the board/others listed in the article.
Just very strange to drop that line and in actually a much more subtle way than the usual/typical "clickbait-y" article would...

I wonder if this is the leveraged loan that’s been discussed?
I’d imagine there’s a few agents rubbing their hands together along with player price hikes

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR ANNOUNCES INITIAL £100M CAPITAL INJECTION

Thu 09 October 2025, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We are pleased to announce that our majority shareholder, the Lewis family trust, has, through ENIC Sports & Development Holdings Ltd (“ENIC”), injected £100 million of new capital into the Club.

This equity injection will further strengthen the Club’s financial position and equip the Club’s leadership team with additional resources to continue the focus on driving long-term sporting success. This additional capital is part of the Lewis family’s ongoing commitment to the Club and its future.

Peter Charrington, Non-Executive Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “As I stated a few weeks ago, our focus is on stability and empowering the management team to deliver on the Club’s ambitions. I know the Lewis family are also ambitious for the future. Today’s capital commitment reflects that ambition and I would like to thank them for their ongoing support. We will continue to do all we can to ensure that Vinai and his team are supported in the best way possible to take this Club forward.”

I wonder how much the war chest will be, will this be additional or the amount we will be looking to spend? Will this also be to cover wages aswell for any additions?

The loan was taken out by the club. Not ENIC. This might just repay that loan. I wonder if the Lewis family invested 100m into Enic and diluted Daniel’s shares there.

Why do it now and not during the summer when it was needed?
Well they were clearly sorting out the top level shenanigans during the summer. They took out a £100m loan for the summer stuff. This might just be to repay that. Maybe the loan was easier to organise than finding £100m. As I doubt they have it just sitting around, probably need to liquidate a few things.
