Sick sick world what is wrong with people

I was talking about the fact that he was on bail for r@pe charges.

Yep, that guy would have been a wrongun in any location or society across the world. What I found most intriguing was the statement that was published by his own family.

"The Al-Shamie family in the UK and abroad strongly condemns this heinous act, which targeted peaceful, innocent civilians.

"We fully distance ourselves from this attack and express our deep shock and sorrow over what has happened. Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims and their families, and we pray for their strength and comfort.

"We kindly request that all media outlets respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time and refrain from using this tragic event in any context that does not reflect the truth.

"May GHod have mercy on the innocent victims, and we pray for the swift recovery of the injured."

It is incredibly intelligently written. It implies that the Al-Shamie family are scared that the UK media will stir things up so much that it will completely compromise their own safety. In most of these situations the family would just remain silent. They wouldn't condemn their own son publicly but they wouldn't support him either. In this case, they've clearly felt that they have had no choice.

I found these words intriguing...."refrain from using this tragic event in any context that does not reflect the truth". The use of the word truth there has all sorts of implications.

The man who wrote that took to Facebook on Oct 7th to celebrate the r@pe and murder of innocent Israelis.

(Assuming the father wrote it - the mother wouldn't be allowed).

But he mentoned GHod and Jesus.
How can we believe a word he said when most on this forum don't believe they exist?
Be far better if Fury headed the peace talks and just said to those involved, "behave...or else!!"

Only if you have the inability to separate the core message from the other parts?
