*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Doncaster Rovers - Carabao Cup ***

I've just sat down to watch the game, after a few pints of Guinness, and remembered that I have seen us play Doncaster In the league cup before....

I thought we had won 7-2 and I've just checked and we did! It was 1975 and I was 15....

In those days, for midweek games ,I had to walk up to Edmonton Green after the game to get a bus to Golders Green and then the last 183 to Kingsbury....

And then up at 6 to do my paper round.... Its no wonder i didn't do that well at school...

I love our football club.... Come on you beautiful Spurs.

How do so many ex-players have kids that manage to make it when the chance of becoming a pro is so slim? Is it often just that they are given a bit more time or patience in academies due to who their dad is? or does that experience of having a dad who has played at such a level really pass on such a benefit?

Genetics. Getting trained by the best from a as soon as they can walk. Massive advantage.

Not all will make it, probably few. But they stand out because of who their dad was.

This Scottish co-commentator is braindead. He keeps talking rubbish.

For the first Tel chance, the defender should easily have cleared but unbelievably it squeezed through and Tel couldn't adjust.
For the second (the header) the keeper got a touch and took it off Tel's head.

Who is this Scot, he's very annoying
