Protesting because we didn’t sign Eze? fudge me. Are football fans that sensitive now? I wonder how many players we missed out on in the 70s, 80s and 90s that we didn’t know about because the media didn’t make an industry of the transfer market.
Heard one of their spokesmen say they got a lot of angry communications from fans after the 0-4 v Munich. I seriously had to stop myself from laughing or crying. Who in the name of fudge gets that upset about a pre season friendly?
There is a sizeable amount of football fans, many of whom are in our fanbase, who really have lost all reason, perspective and maturity when it comes to their club. If anything could turn me off football, it’s not the “high” ticket prices, it’s not the fact we aren’t winning trophies hand over fist (like we ever did really) - it’s the self entitled drama queens who overreact to everything to do with their club.
