ENIC

You're happy to criticise for his physical fitness effecting his ability to perform on the pitch, saying we should get rid.
Mental health though? Fans should accept that. BS.
Don't shy away from it. If a player isn't physically or mentally up to it. Get rid. Point them in the way of someone who can help and move on.
@Bedfordspurs is right. We don’t know enough about his mental health. But we do know when he pulls up in the middle of the pitch (yet again) and is subbed of injured.

We can criticise what we do know, but not what we don’t know.

One thing I will say on the mental health side, after he opened up on the struggles he had, when he came back into the team he actually came back stronger and played well at the back end of the season. So personally feel the need to criticise his mental health.

I’d rather we gamble and get in a few dele alli/kyle walkers than spend big and end up with more Ndombeles (he had all the potential)

Oh for the good old days when we could afford to set transfer records and purchase Britain’s finest players, like Jimmy Greaves and Cliff Jones, which resulted in winning trophies every season,…

any reason why enic doesn't want to sell the spurs women's team to themselves like chelsea?
Chelsea and now Villa are using this creative accounting of selling to themselves so they don't breach Premier League PSR rules , problem is under UEFA PSR rules you can't do this so there should be some action taken against both clubs by UEFA.
Spurs don't have this problem with PSR as it's been reported that we have something like a £200 million leeway which some seem to think means we can spend in the transfer market, dream on :)

Having the leeway to spend and having the actual funds to spend are two different things. Unless there is a cash injection we won't be spending anywhere near 200m.

Not sure if anyone listens to The Lab podcast? Had a guest on the latest episode basically saying Levy is the reason the club wasn’t sold to the Qatari royal family this year. Although Lewis has been separated from ENIC’s ownership officially he’d apparently given the go ahead to sell if Levy agreed. Interesting to hear about

extra cash in the bank ? who knows spinning off the women's team might give them the impetus to be financially self sufficient too

How would selling something to yourself put extra money in your bank? 😂

Chelsea & Villa want to spend money that PSR won't allow them to, selling the women's team to themselves doesn't give them money they don't already have it just means they are allowed to spend it.

Couldn't they just sell their stake in enic? Giving them the majority.
If sn official bid came in, they'd have to notify all shareholders.

Anyway. Guessing the lab gets money from their podcast. Sows discontent between levy and the fan base. Win win for them.

Heard a bit of that Lab Podcast and as soon as they started on about a tube station next to the stadium turned it off, that has been ruled out so many times , it was first discussed in 2002 and turned down.
Another reason an extension to the Victoria is unlikely to be built is that when finances are available Crossrail 2 will be built , plans are already available and this will bring increased services to Northumberland Pk.

When you look at construction costs of underground tunnels in London even the Qataris might have second thoughts, it's 2.18 km in a straight line from the southern end of the stadium to Seven Sisters if the construction article extract below is correct it would cost circa 2 billion dollars to construct are they going to fund it.

Crossrail: £15 billion in 2008-18 for a line of more than 100 km, of which the primary component is 22 km of new tunnel under Central London and Heathrow Airport. Due to the extensiveness of the London Underground network, this is the most complex project on the list. The cost per unit of tunnel is about $1 billion per km, making this the only outside New York to cross the $1 billion line.

I get cross rail 2 will cost that for new tunnels. The line already exists though. It's not new tracks. It's a new station at the train shed.
Victoria line already runs to northumberland. It's only for staff though.

I think that they actually want a tube running right to the stadium from what I heard from other stories about these alleged takeovers by middle eastern sheikhs .
The service line from SS to NP has been discussed before , one story I read by a reported expert on railways is that it's would need complete upgrading to be able to be used for passenger traffic and then there is the cost of building platforms at NP with all the disruption to the existing depot , all discussed before and deemed economically unviable by TFL.
From the southern end of the stadium its a 907 metre walk to NP where the Victoria line depot is , from the same spot outside the stadium to Seven Sisters it's approx 2.12 km, you would be saving a walk of around 1,200 metres it's not worth the money.

The lack of a tube station very close to stadium doesn't stop people attending the stadium in fact Haringey Council would positively be against it they want people walking down the High St spending money in shops and boosting the local economy.

Back to the podcast didn't listen to it all , expect it's full of the usual unsubstantiated drivel.
