Well combine Spurs' injury curse with Kulu on crutches supplemented with Romero and Bents being off their nut on an open top bus - I can see why he has sat this one out....

His surgeon said he isn't allowed to fly.
He had his operation in Barca, so travelled to Bilbao by car.
But presumably could not make it back here in time.

It's a shame for him, he looked very pained and awkward at the medals, at the trophy lift etc.
Imagine being the fittest guy in the Premier League... but unable to join in the celebrations properly at the crucial moment.
