I think the tone of my post has probably masked the meaning of what I meant for some (in fairness to myself it was a 4am kick off, I haven’t had any sleep and it’s now 4pm)

I mean people are going to try and degrade this win. Tell us it means nothing when we all know that’s not true. It’s time to pull up the drawbridge and go full siege mentality. No longer Spurs the club who has the tinkle taken out of them at every opportunity.

Thinking about things this morning. I absolutely love Harry Kane. Yet I am SO pleased it was Sonny who got to lift that trophy. I don’t know why but I feel more emotionally attached to Sonny, as much as I love Harry.

Kane is my favourite ever Spurs player. But I think he's a lot more robotic in personality, where as Son is more emotional, wears his heart on his sleeve and is just warm and friendly to everyone - that's why his teammates love him so much....

I honestly dont remember hearing the United fans singing once. It almost felt like a stadium just full of Spurs fans

tbf, if the club had played a bit of John Denver for the big cup final song to get the fans pumped before KO I would feel a tad underwhelmed too.

It's funny how the quality of the opponents is suddenly so relevant now Spurs have won the EL. Yet there's no mention of Villa having to overcome the mighty Bologna, Arse taking on Shaktar Donetsk and Liverpool (and Arse) barely beating Girona in the CL.

The quality of the teams is of course generally better in the CL, as it should be in the biggest European competition, but there's certainly plenty of (relative) deadwood there too.

When we got there at 8.30 there was a lot of bodies sorted around and some sick in the taxi drop off
