I don't begrudge Villa's decision; it's their last home game of the season (a good season at that) so they'll want to be able to enjoy it with their fans a bit. Can't do that at 10pm on a Thursday night!
Strange that it was all made public though. Can they not have these discussions via a phone call?

I imagine levy would make us put out a full team in the league and under 21s in Europe if the was less of a fine for Europe.

I think if by some miracle we win the EL our fans will celebrate no matter what time or day it is, also I think any European league would try to help their national club to win a European trophy.
It shouldn't even be Spurs having to request anything, the PL should see this potential issue and move it themselves. Would just be another example of our league not doing what they can to help their country's teams in European competition. But anyway, lets see if we get there first....

Especially as, as things stand right now, it could be an all-English final. So having Man Utd playing on the Friday and us on the Sunday is not a good look for the PL. Play both Utd and our game on the Friday. Both are on Sky, so they can show them on separate channels. (Granted Villa might not be happy with this).
I suspect our game will eventually be moved to the Saturday, unless there's some hard and fast rule that PL games absolutely can't be played on the same day as the FA Cup Final. In which the case the PL and FA need to have their heads banged together on this and sort it out.
Could well be all moot by 10pm on Thursday of course!

I think we might start to see more info from the club once the ex arsenal board person joins. That seems to be something arsenal fans liked about him.
