Dejan Kulusevski

To think quite a few respectable posters were saying there was no place for him preseason. From the first preseason game it was clear he was one of our best, if not best, attacking player.

Hope we can sign him to longer contract. And add more players with his skill level. He does however have room for improvement. He needs to score more and feel more fluid when shooting. Convert more chances.

kulu sounds mad...with ange and the squad

"This year we cannot say that we're prepared for it because we had so many injuries and we did a lot of things wrong from the beginning of the season and we're paying for it right now.

"After big nights like Thursday, you always go down. That's why teams who are in more competitions are paying [a price]. We're not handling it right, we're not handling it well. Because after 16 minutes we'd conceded three goals, with the offside goal.

"Then it's hard to win football games. It's not good enough. Then we played some good football but if you're not doing everything right, you will not win games.

"I can't speak for everyone, I'm talking about me. I know that after a big night like that, you come back at five in the morning and you're going to feel disastrous.
"So you've got to find things to do to pick yourself up. It [comes] with experience. I felt great today and that's good.

Of basically any player in our squad, Kulu is the one who deserves not to be let down. Should be our captain as @afsoc4life and @Bedfordspurs were saying. He won't accept subpar garbage being served up, whether it's during a match or on the training ground.

Seems like he's not happy with the squad planning, management, and individual players. It's just a giant blanket criticism, and he's right, although with the benefit of hindsight.

He is all about standards imo
He knows he needs to play to get to his level again but he won’t accept others not pulling their weight
We have a lot of players going through a the motions in the league and for him, as a watcher it will have tinkled him off I’m sure

He made the same sounds around Jan? I guess he's suggesting nothing has changed

These players are not buying what the club or Ange is selling

I feel like Kulu has defended Ange in his comments before though. I mean, I don't think it's unreasonable that the support will wane as the performances and results continue to be in the gutter.

i don't think the players buy into what ange wants.

for instance people say son isn't trying but you can see he is consistently holding off for the overlap too, which seems like a tactic.
solanke isn't as much a target man as a presser. he'd do well chasing a ball down the channels too.

particularly for this much his criticism is aimed at the defence.
not sure why we are so static for all three goals and can't challenge for headers. seems to me a lack of coaching or tactical mistakes (always playing/hoping for offside)

i give the benefit of the doubt to the players who are all performing subpar. its ange, montgomery, jedinak, raimundo who have arrived with little experience and seem to be struggling. occasionally something gets done right but not often enough and its clear to see on the pitch,.

if a new manager arrives I hope we give him time to sort out the entire squad including those on loan and academy. we've got a glut of talent and seem to be wasting a lot while running a few key players into the ground

I don't care if a defender is told to be static his instincts should take over, if it doesn't he's not a defender worth having and I see ours not make a move when their brain should be screaming at them to close the danger down.

I think we have some really dumb players
Players who still can’t manage simple passes
Players who can only move in one direction
Defenders who can’t head a ball or ones who literally leave their man
Sonny’s issue is physical. He doesn’t have the skill set to play a a winger and he has lost the hard of pace he needs to be that wide forward. You can say it’s all about his position but just look at how weak his shooting is… that’s a physical demise

Footballers aren't known for being smart, that's why you coach/drill it into them so it's instinct, not thinking

Look at the below ..
