Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

This is a bizarre conversation.
You can celebrate and be happy and still comment about your reservations particularly on a thread about the manager.

Supporting spurs is not confined to the words you type on a thread on a website

I agree. Totally bizarre.

Telling other people how to think and feel doesn't work for me. It's like being offended on someone else's behalf.

Think it is just a personality thing - some like to whinge more than others, some have a more positive outlook in all forms of life etc hence why there are always going to be debates on this forum which is obviously a good thing for balance.

But there is a small portion on here that have gone in so hard for Ange that regardless of result they still have to bang on about the same boring subject of getting rid of him right after and it is actually sad to see. In what has been an undeniably poor season just enjoy the positive nights in Europe we have without reverting to 'Yeah but he still has to go'. Just worry about that nonsense at the end of the season and enjoy the European ride while we still can....

I think the opposite also applies. There is a minority that go in so hard on protecting Ange when the toughest results come along. It balances the forum in my mind. Of course, we don't perceive those posters as badly as the ones on Ange's case. They are apparently the positive ones whereas the Ange out phalanx are the negative ones. In reality, they are both positive because every fan that writes anything just wants the best for the club they support.

I'm talking about after a nice win in Europe - the debate about Ange is never ending, whether you're in the Ange in or out camp, why does it have to be turned back into that debate right after a good win? Just enjoy the night, it's been clear he's not going anywhere this season for a while so just suck it up and enjoy the EL rollercoaster....

but again why not.
obviously restating what i have said before, this is a thread about the manager, why comment on it.
For those who find it beneath them because it dilutes their enjoyment, then just avoid the thread?

Funnily enough and like it or not our win on Thursday had something to do with our manager so yes I will comment on it and am in the right thread.

You can say what you want, I merely find it sad those that can't just enjoy the win and have to take it right back to their agenda of hating on Ange....

i never said you didn’t have a right to comment but again at a risk of repeating myself , you can enjoy the win and still comment on the bigger picture.
that’s not an agenda, it’s an opinion

There were games played today that affected our league position, which caused me to look at the table, which then led to me thinking about the manager so I came into this thread for a read and a discussion.

Not hating on the guy but one look at the league table as I did earlier makes finding any reason to want him to stay hard. Any metrics of improvement don't align with being 16th on the verge of 17th.

But if you look at our form over the past 38 PL games we rise to the lofty heights of 15th and just look at that glorious GD, mate!
