Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

If have liked to see gray much earlier but the game was dead before kick off
I think that was the most muted atmosphere I've witnessed all season. Even the goal celebrations felt half-hearted.
Even the Levy Out protesters didn't get their chants going on the allotted minutes.
I think the loudest point was in the first hald when the Southampton fans started 'oh when the Saints' and the rest of the ground picked it up as 'oh when the Spurs...'.
Otherwise a very odd atmosphere really.

Apparently the Saints fans were singing something about playing Coventry next season.

No one wanted to be there
Especially the players
Could hear every call being made it was so quiet
Lots of empty seats too

Since they can't be bothered with the league, I've decided to follow the same route: I'm preserving myself for the EL games and will only watch highlights for Premier League games. Considering the price of season tickets, it's always nice to know the players won't play for the fans...

The players and manager will sleep well tonight, knowing you've got their back.

Hooray a win, most memorable thing about game for me was how VAR is draining enjoyment out of the game. A time limit must come into the equation, thought the ref was poor and seemed to blow his whistle just to check we were all awake.
Ive said all along VAR has killed the game. Cant celebrate a goal anymore.
The faceless fudges who brought it in dont give a flying fook what the fans want.

In general I agree that they absolutely do not consider fans much, however, VAR was in response to the constant criticism of referees and the mistakes they made. A lot driven by the media, but as fans we definitely played our role.

It was weird I must say. Even the clapping of the fans at the end, the players came over to the South stand and the only one who was a bit fired up was Pedro. He did the fist pump, you think before a huge quarter they'd all be trying to g us up. Maybe they know we aren't behind them as much as we should or they are just bored I don't know.

All I do know is that the football In the second half was very very dull. First half was actually ok tbf.

Lots of unnecessary swearing though, not one swear word by me as had to be on good behaviour, but when you're not drinking and swearing, it does show you how embarrassing male football fans can be.

I think the simple explanation is you are seeing a bunch of players and a manager who don't really care about the league now and their reputations depend on the EL

Win the EL and Ange gets another job in a bigger league

Some of the players we want rid have an EL win on their CV and will have more options.
We will see soon enough
