It was absolutely abysmal wasn't itGood first half. 2nd half was boring.

Clearly a very good player in a horrendous sideVery little.
Decent cross in the first half when Porro defected a shot off the post.
A win before Thursday is key, but if I have seen a worse spectacle in the PL I can't remember when
BTW, Archie Gray again with a fine performance (albeit not a long one!)...
Clearly a very good player in a horrendous side
Good to return to a live game. Disappointed to hear Levy Out chants starting but pleased they were soon drowned out by 'COYS' chants.
Thats how it should be DURING the game. By all means Levy-haters have your moans before or after, but please while the match is on, back the team.
Re: the game, could have been 5-0 at HT, Ramsdale kept them in it. Hopefully, Thursday we can take those chances and we rack up a good win. Yes 2nd half was frustrating, but I can see what they were trying to do
Pray tell. What were they trying to do and why did it fail so badly in that second half?
I think the simple explanation is you are seeing a bunch of players and a manager who don't really care about the league now and their reputations depend on the ELWhat I'm perhaps struggling with is the interpretation of what was said at half time and how the execution happened by our players.
We all know they would come out the blocks at us being 2-0 down and Ange would have reminded them of that. He would have said keep doing the same things i.e. pass, move and keep possession. He may have also said for the full-backs to play a bit tighter and block of their only avenue we saw in the first half.
What happened next was really bad and makes no sense. The fight stopped, the intensity slowed and we could have easily been in a different place altogether if they had scored 10 mins earlier. The ball became a hot potato again.
I just don't get it with Ange and these players, There is so much potential in both, but there is clearly something major missing from the equation.
In some ways, it was very similar to the very first game of the season - Leicester.

Win the EL and Ange gets another job in a bigger league
Some of the players we want rid have an EL win on their CV and will have more options.

That's fair. It's not as thought the players quit on the second half though. By them reducing down to 80-90%, they cause their own downfall. We had 5 outfield subs to make in that second half. There was no need to lower the intensity.
If have liked to see gray much earlier but the game was dead before kick offI thought it was the perfect time to give Moore/Tel/Ajayi some serious minutes in the PL and Gray in CM
I can see why he kept Solanke on to try and get a goal though.
TBF to Ange , if someone got a knock we would have moaned.
I think today was a no win situation
The real issue is why we are just playing dead rubbers in the league in March/April !
