OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v AZ 13.03.2025 **

On the plus side we haven't given up any chances. However, we're still not convincing. There's still no chemistry between the players and things break down more often than they should when we're attacking. Sonny needs to stop driving at their goal and pass the ball quicker.

I'm nervous about the second half because they are well organized and it will be very difficult to score against them, especially if they get one back.

Pretty uninspirational.
Lucas the bravest out there, Spence doing well. Sonny trying very hard to be a spark of difference, Maddison twirling about but not actually doing much. Pape caught between a rock and a hard place...was that Romero making another concentration error?

Bergvall! fudge me, what a player! He's been everywhere. Got a determined zing in his passing. And what a difference it makes with VDV at the back. What a player. That one move he had, on his arse, tackling no less than three times in one motion, winning the ball in each one! Yes. So happy to see Odobert scoring as well.

Don't really want to single anyone out, as we've been good, but those brain farts from Romero is reaching Kyle Walker levels.

It struct me in that half, possession, even control, but not dominance

While I feel we weren't under threat, they were reasonably comfortable as well ..
