Daniel Levy - Chairman

I was one of the few that did want him - not sure how genuine the interest was though there were as many rumours saying that CG wouldn't entertain a move to Tottenham due to being a diehard Chelsea fan as there was saying we were in the mix.

Likewise, I said he would be a good fit and was put in my place, hence why I find the hindsight narrative change funny

sorry but if Connor Gallagher was the solution to our current problem …

Hahaha .. fudging exactly

No one player is ever really the solution anyway.

We need a manager who can get the team playing consistently, who can adapt to not always having the perfect first 11 or better first 11 than opposition, who can rotate/manage the players to reduce the injuries, who can work to identify the Solanke type buys they need, while leveraging the Spence/Bergvall/Vuskovich type investments the club will obviously continue to make.

Our current problem is Sarr, Bissoama and Bentacur.

I think Connor would be the answer to our prayers until he gets injured of course. Him and Bergvall in the middle would be a fantastic cm partnership.

I would normally agree, however recently I feel we have been to easily physically bullied by teams like Liverpool, Leicester and Saudi Sportswashing Machine.
We lack that presence and energy.

No energy because the system kills the players

Gallagher in an Ange side would constantly be out of position

We've not had it since long before ange.
Who was the last aggressive player we had, one that would make the opposition wince at the thought of a tackle?
Iin the past it was never a style of player I would want us to sign, now though I think it's needed.

Romero
Bentacur
They are aggressive
What we need is controlled players
Ones who have that element if they know what they are doing
Earlier Grays suggests Paulina would have been a great option for us because of that but he would also have been injured and suspended because he doesn’t have the control part nailed.
I was never impressed with Rodri for some time and he got better and better because he controlled the games. He is now the best in the world when fit

Romero possibly, but I don't see it in Bentancur.
He's reckless, but he's not aggressive Imv.

Yes that midfield trio is shocking. Its bewildering though as Biss was great fro Brighton, and can have good games for us occasionally. Bents was good last season but injuries and the silly suspension has seen him go backwards.
Sarr for me looks ok in glimpses but on the whole isnt good enough for where we shoukd aim for, i e top 6 team.

Giving up the 2x Season Tickets end of this season. We're not a serious club that wants to win, so good luck to the next chump who takes my 2 seats.

It's a structural thing. It's not just buying players where we lack. It's a will to win. Can mock Arsenal all day, i love to, but they do say "that's our ambition". where's ours? non-existent.

So i'll be an armchair fan. go to the odd game if i can, but i cant be bothered putting money into this club any longer. It's not even that I can't afford to which is the funny thing, it's the whole apathy towards our club at the moment, and for the forseeable.

Enjoy Beyonce though. Can she play right wing?

Yeah
TBF there are people putting their social media name there
But for me I can’t see what they want the outcome to be
Seeing the post from spider saying they may wanna keep levy means to it’s more Brexit than I thought
I'm sorry but we never have had brexit in the first place! it was held up for three years in parliament and we still don't have Brexit now!
Anyway you shouldn't bring politics into the football thread IMO.
