Detective: "So, any idea of the cause of death?"
Coroner: "We think someone loaded some custard with Novichok and poured it over three hookers"
D: "WTF?"
Detective: "So, you think it is linked to Russian corruption?"
Coroner: "No... just regular Tuesday night in Brighton."

If the US wanted fudge with the FSB they could find their operatives fairly easy by the looks of it.

Just astonishing. @navalny called up one of the FSB agents who Putin admitted tracked him, pretended to be an assistant to the head of Russia's security council, and extracted a 49-minute confession that they poisoned him. Unreal.https://t.co/43ujaF5H3u

There's a few articles on their site at the moment going into how they worked out who was involved - well worth a read.
It's rare to see the combination of the modern skills required to gather and parse the digital information now available with the methods and techniques of traditional investigative journalism.bellingcat are exceptional investigative journalists.
Or maybe not even the questionsPutin is going to have some serious questions to answer, which he’ll no doubt play down the same way he always does.

Vladimir Putin has signed legislation that will grant former presidents of Russia lifetime immunity once they leave office.
The bill, which was published online on Tuesday, gives former presidents and their families immunity from prosecution for crimes committed during their lifetime.
The Khangoshvili murder article they posted is equally as good. I haven't read too many more than those two. I think the fact that they post their methods has a number of upsides beyond the kudos that rightly comes their way. It provides them with a level of protection for one, and it is also an education to others in their field. Amazing journalism. It's rare to see the combination of the modern skills required to gather and parse the digital information now available with the methods and techniques of traditional investigative journalism.
Navalny is on a flight from Germany back to Russia. Meanwhile looks like Putin's thugs are waiting for him at the airport to arrest him when he lands
