I see that Sandro only recently turned 31 and I’m sure Mourinho would’ve loved to have him as the watercarrier for Ndombele and Lo Celso.

Cheers for link. Seems that Vinicius is a late bloomer like Ndombele, so hopefully we’ve snapped him up at just the right time... and as he’s a left footed former centre-back then perhaps he’ll prove to be the new Dion Dublin / Chris Sutton / Gary Doherty!

Interesting read thanks for posting, he has really been around the block so far lets hope he settles well here. Whoever we signed was always going to be a back up to Kane but if he can get goals for us when he plays it will be a good signing.
I agree Kane adds to us defensively, but I think Poch never quite managed subs in a way that didn't change the rhythm/style of side (we tried to play to Janssen as if he was Kane)
If you look now at how Lucas, Lamela, Bergwijn, even the Lo Celso/Ndombele swaps happen, the side consistency works.
I want to see Kane (and one of Son/Bale) off at 70/75 minutes when we are ahead, bring on Bergwijn/Lucas/Lamela plus Vinicius and give the opposition a strong target man plus pace to deal with after already having had 70+ minutes of the main three,

Family man...been around a bit...played lower league...good goalscoring record coming off the bench...intelligence and passing...big and strong...sounds an unbelievable fit for us, basically. Fingers crossed that it works out.
