I See CCV got rave reviews for his latest game for Stoke. He is still only 21 even though it seems like he has been around for ages. He has some good games for Swansea last year. I would still like to get him back and see if he can kick on. Didnt do Mings any hard going down a division and now back up. With Him, Foyth and Tanganga we have some young CB's who could step up.
 
I see Bennetts scored the first. What happened to the other Bennetts that left us for Europe last year? He sounded a great prospect.

Also, I see Cheatski have Mount / Abraham / Hudson Odoi / Timori (sp?) coming through (partly due to their ban on signings).
Presumably these are the guys that used to win the youth leagues for them... people are quick to criticise Cheatski for signing 50 players and loaning them out... but what can Spurs learn from this crop of 4 ""home grown / free"" quality first teamers i.e. how can we do the same in a few years' time?

And... should we do more of that then? It should be a whole different workstream, separate from Poch, Perez, Miki and Jimi.
A couple of Youth Football Experts should hoover up talent at 15 and loan them out til 18. Simple economics, innit?

Trying to suggest we should follow Chelsea's approach in terms of youth development after a couple of months of them actually having academy products in their first team is like saying we should follow their fans' approach to tolerance of ethnic minorities following a couple of days of no racist incidents.

Looks like the Red Star youth team, like the senior team are pretty brick but still a confidence booster for the young lads, nice to see.
