World Cup 2026 - Qualifiers

Spence wont start for England, Tuchel will probably pick Henderson in front of him to play LB or RB

I wouldn't start Spence for England at LB. Both club and country need a leftie there.

Spence needs to be fighting for the RB berth and he'll need to displace Porro first and then find new consistent levels to compete with the existing England RB options. I'd be quite happy if Reece James can stay fit for the entire tournament. Be good to see Spurs buy another left back to really bring the best out of our 2 RB options. Competition for places is never a bad thing.

I'd only play Spence at RB too. England aren't blessed with options. James is always injured. Walker and Tripper are both 35. And TAA who knows where he plays. So Spence or Livramento might have a shout.

Exactly that. RB isn't as competitive as it was. Having LB up his sleeve could work in Spence's favour.

England would be better with a leader like James in it.
