Very lucky to finish with 11 on the pitch and Ghana should have had a pen 100%. Really poor performance.
Absolute stonewall penalty and never even mentioned, if that was against us there'd be a full inquest.

I'm waiting to see if they mention it now. I understand they're going to be pro England but to completely ignore reality is wild.Absolute stonewall penalty and never even mentioned, if that was against us there'd be a full inquest.
Not mentioned that Pickford should have been off though.fair play BBC for calling out that penalty mistake
Was clear when I watched it but I assumed there was some offside somewhere as it was obviousIncredible
They gave Semenyo offside but that came after the foul. Was clear when I watched it but I assumed there was some offside somewhere as it was obvious
Who did VAR? John Terry and David Beckham?
Ghana were very good for the draw
They are a much better side than anyone, including the bookies gave credit and they done their homework. Sometimes you have to take the result and move oGhana had done their homework brilliantly and deserved that draw. The touches of the ball showed the story
Pickford 26
Spence 53
James 87
Guehi 144
Konsa 125
Anderson 92
Rice 69
Bellingham 40
Madueke 51
Gordon 41
Kane 20
Our most talented forward, Kane was not up for this one. He didn't fancy the physicality and wasn't looking for space or showing for the ball. Against Croatia he would happily drop deep and dictate play especially in that left channel. He was left on the pitch last night by Tuchel for the one magic moment and it nearly came. However, it didn't and he walked off that pitch with a 4 or 5 out of 10 performance. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but there is a good argument to say the Watkins or Toney approach might have been worth a punt once the pattern of play with Kane had been established.
I also thought Anderson was poor. So many touches but no bravery on the ball. Bellingham was also poor. He seemed to stop pounding round the pitch and being a nuisance. He just settled into a pattern of being just another body in the way.
You can also tell from these stats how ineffective our left side was with the Spence / Gordon partnership. I don't think the James / Madueke was much better to be fair but the channels improved significantly with the subs.
Disappointing result but we live to fight another day.
I just don't think you are still at a club like Crystal Palace until you're 26 if you're any good.Yes Eze has regressed, that is what happens when you choose the goons over the lillywhites.
Much like many managers bemoan...we just wasn't brave, got to be prepared to lose possession trying something in these type of games.Ghana had done their homework brilliantly and deserved that draw. The touches of the ball showed the story

You better delete this before baleforce sees itMost disappointing aspect for me was we did not get to the goal line enough, when we did we looked dangerous. I'll never be able to respect the way Ghana set up, that's not football and hardly likely to promote the game, and I was a defender for over 25 years.
