World Cup 2018 Semi Finals

Southgate should gonad* them for their lack of composure and focus in the final third. Need to be clinical 2nd half.

Good half from England, shame couldn't get the 2nd goal. Still a long way to go in this one.
 
A good 40 minutes with a little sloppiness at the end.

There are too many back passes to the keeper. It's like watching Liverpool before the back pass rule.
 
fudge me, that wasn't half bad.

The midfield has looked a little stretched at times, but nowhere near as bad as I expected. Sterling has been great, he's got those Croation defenders on the back foot and for once he's getting on the end of Kane's flick ons. Dele has looked great and the defence has grown in confidence. I'm still a little worried about Young, as he's been outpaced on a couple of occasions, but he's done really well at times too.

Could be 3-0 too. Really suprised Kane scuffed that shot (why no corner?) into the keeper, whilst Lingard (who's had a poor game so far) should've at least worked the keeper. We know he can score from there.

I'm suprised that the ref has kept his cards in his pocket. Lovren should have got a straight yellow for that block on Kane as Kane was away from him if not for that.
 
Hope Kane's miss doesnt come back to haunt us. The Lingard chance will be forgotten, you can guarantee Kane will get the stick if Croatia come back
 
Popping in here at half time.
Good performance overall, these guys are looking very mature. Some good defending on show. But need to get that second.
Lovrwn is being pure Lovren and deserves a yellow.
 
Good team effort, we should be more goals up ( Kane should have scored) and we need to be a bit more careful with those back passes.

Worse than that he almost immediately took out Sterling with a late challenge after the ref gave him his last warning.

Still no card.
