I'd try and stick with the same defence for a few games. I think the backline we played today could develop into a strong unit. Important to play the same players for a few games.
And Foyth who Poch clearly sees playing there but is injuredWhy was this not addressed in the transfer window once Trippier was sold? We looked at dozens of midfielders and forwards but not a Right back. We have 3 quality left backs but one out of favour Right back and KwP.
Sissoko. He's got the engine to run all day, is no slouch and it would get him out of the middle of the park.

You've seen the midfield situation?
I'm really not sure what is going on with our player recruitment!
I have little faith in the current setup!
Foyth is not a fullback! I'm quicker if I pump my tyres up!
Are you not concerned by Sanchez’s inability to play in tight spaces?.... which is a crucial part of our fullbacks’ game if we’re to be able to transition from defense to attack.I'd try and stick with the same defence for a few games. Is this the European transfer deadline day thread?
So hard to tell nowadays.
Right back market is in a real drought. So hard to find someone of real quality without paying massive amounts of money. Why was this not addressed in the transfer window once Trippier was sold? 10 starts you say?Right back market is in a real drought. So hard to find someone of real quality without paying massive amounts of money.
So we chose not to spend £50m on someone. That to me there are a couple of potential explanations.
1. We felt we had to prioritize other areas. That we would gain more by spending that money elsewhere.
2. Pochettino rates our current right back options higher than many of our fans. Worth noting that KWP only has 10 first team starts in total so far, could very well be expected to improve significantly over the next 6 months. Similarly Foyth is only starting to grow in confidence and experience in that role, and in the PL in general.
I'd say we delay our judgement until these players have been given a chance to show what they can do. Pochettino has done great things in the past with full backs and young players in general. Surely he should be trusted to have a plan?
