Apologies if already posted, and probably bs, but...
No idea if it's a real link but at least there's speculation that we are trying to address a very obvious fault.Apologies if already posted, and probably bs, but...
Don't get your hopes up - this is just the beginning of thousands of nonsense links that are fast approachingNo idea if it's a real link but at least there's speculation that we are trying to address a very obvious fault.
I hate being someone to say "I told you so" but I fudging said a a passing CM was a priority in the summer window thread and so many dismissed that idea. Now look, everyone can bloody finally see it.![]()
'Champagne Lifestyle'When I signed up I was listening to Bullet in the Head by RATM and googled 'Avatar image' and there was the eggy baby and I thought, that'll do.
Why 'Lemonade Money' and GHod with MT?
Lucas...I remember we were heavily linked with Barrios when he was at Dortmund 15 years ago
Twitter is saying Lange is interested in de Cat
Whilst this would be a good surname for jokes and headlines, he is only 17 and has made 18 appearances in the Jupiler league

He will probably become a really good player in the next few years and might even be good enough for a top PL side in 5 years' time, but he is nowhere near good enough for right now.
Think back to the last game, Forest's Sangare and Anderson (and MGW) would snap him in half and eat him for breakfast.
CM that can pass the ball forward and get it into the forwards is more important.Jesus, are we making up names for people now?
I just want us to sign someone for DE LEFT WING

He isn't a top class passer, his strength is running with the ball and driving forward that way. He's not going to pick out line breaking passes regularly. Gray is more of a passer than Bergvall. The only players that we have that really have that ability are Madders and to an extent Kulu.Bergvall can do that really well if he is played with the right DCM, but he needs more than one or two games to prove it and fleeting appearances off the bench.
This is how I feel about Bergvall. I've yet to see anything that suggests he's got the passing range and vision. He does have really top class potential but it's in ball carrying, line breaking and I expect as he matures 2nd man runs Into the box. But tempo setting passer? I don't see it.He isn't a top class passer, his strength is running with the ball and driving forward that way. He's not going to pick out line breaking passes regularly. We need someone that can quickly get the ball through the lines and into the forwards. Everything is too slow and sideways at the moment. Bergvall running with the ball can't be the only option to link defence with attack. It's too easily countered if there are no other options. We don't need a "quarter back" in the CM though, you need someone that can join attack and defence with quality and also presence. He also has alot of quality on the ball, the sample size with him at Spurs is small but he clearly has been bought in because of that quality.
The quality to break the play with passing should be IMO the role of the Xavi or Madders who should be joined by a Bergvall with presence and runs off which present space for the passing talent of one of those two players.

Xavi can't play a deeper role, he is best in a 10 role.
There is that aswell. Not much use having a forward-passing midfielder if there's no one to pass to. I mean, would you bother passing to Richarlison?
