Would you rather have Savinho & Gakpo, or Osimhen?

It’s an interesting hypothetical. My instincts say VO because a top striker can raise a team’s ceiling. But then I remember that we had Kane and Son and the reality is that if we look dysfunctional or lack quality throughout the side, the guys up top can only do so much.

So I’d say get Savinho and Gakpo, if that was the choice. I believe that Solanke and Richarlison are both good players, who through injuries and playing in a terrible side in a terrible season haven’t been able to show anywhere near their best. But I would say are capable of finishing the chances that quality players in a well tuned system would create for them.

Frankly if Solanke can stay fit I think he’s just a great
player, you can tell with his touch and decision making that he has it. Richy is the weird one. Because he can score some fantastic goals, including a well placed first time finish today, but can also make utterly dreadful decisions and be unable to control the football for multiple games.

But I would say are capable of finishing the chances that quality be a clear upgrade for sure. i guess the issue is at what cost, since we've already spent a lot. also no CL so likely depth is not so much an issue but

Kinsky, senesi, van hecke, tonali, fernandez and now tel can get the ball into the penalty box - we just lack a fast and strong striker to get on the end of those.

All he needs to do is last the half the season before Solanke is back and we can get goals from Kulu and Maddision as AMs. Shouldn't be too difficult as its one game per week. Though i am sure Osimhen will want to prioritize a CL side at the very least
