Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

This is good to hear. The Daniel Levy approach to transfers would be a welcome new weapon in our armoury; it's so competitive for 4th that every part of the organisation has to function at a level of excellence.

Exactly, Spurs are now seen as notoriously difficult to deal with when trying to get a good price for their players. We should be the same. The fact that we got £50m for Torres should be an indicator that FSG won't be bullied over price. The negatives for selling totally outweigh the positives, it would totally disrupt our plans for getting top 4 this season and could end up costing us a lot more in the long run. This season is a pivotal one and so we should do everything to keep him for at least one more season. For him to go the money will have to be right and we'll have to be able to secure a replacement in this window

Interesting to see Rawk's take on Levy.

Interesting to see that they mention the Torres price but miss the £35m on Carroll.

Carroll, Henderson, Adams, that whole transfer Window for them was great price for Torres, lets see how we can tinkle it away on mediocre, overpriced garbage.

Re: victims thread, why locked ???

Just open a new one whenever they next do something stupid.

This.

See, as a mod, you can't win sometimes.

Mega threads get bashed for being, well, mega. So we try to have a freshen up and this is what happens.

As it is real close season now, we are going to quietly lose some of the more long-winded threads to classics, in the hope that new discussion will spring forth.
Threads that are obviously season orientated should have course be renewed at an appropriate moment. Others just need a kick up the arse.

As said, if a similar thread should appear, so be it. But maybe a more inventive, or comical title would potentially steer it in a new direction. Who knows?
But please, don't anyone start one entitled "Let's all laugh at Arsenal", ok?
